Updates

 It was a really long day on the feet today. Very tiring as there was a huge amount of post and parcels to deliver. The relentless heatwave we are experiencing at the moment doesn't help either. I know it usually doesn't last because we don't usually have mega hot weather (30 degrees C +) in the UK. It doesn't help that my flat is also very hot too.  My shin splints are still a little painful and the compression sock I have been wearing has helped. I rang the agency I'm with in the afternoon to see if I could transfer to Huntingdon or something, but at the moment Cambridge want me to go full-time so I don't have any other option. I have decided to go full-time with them.  Not a lot else happened today, but I was working as hard as I could to stay cool in the hot weather. Helps that I'm paired with someone decent as well on the round, so that's nice. 

 Hey all,  Another tough day today. My feet are cracked and my left ankle hurts a bit, but nothing too serious. On a different round this week, and it's harder than any I have done before. Lots more walking and it's harder than any rounds I have done before. Much harder on the feet and legs. Also today I realised I ordered some socks, but ordered the wrong size and opened them by mistake before realising. I don't know if Bridgedale will take them back, but I hope they will. It has pissed me off because the socks aren't cheap. They are rather expensive but good for the feet, which is why I ordered them. Not much else to add today. Took a bath, went to bed.
